Can I restrict the users to Vote for one entry per day?

Yes, you can restrict the users to vote only for one entry per day. 

In "Timeline & Voting" under "Voting Settings" you will find the option to select number of vote(s) "[1 - 25]" per "Entry/User" per "Day/Week/Contest". Selecting one vote per entry per day would allow the user to vote only once for a submission in a day. The user can vote for additional submissions, but not the same one. The user would be able to vote for the same entry again on a different day. If you wish to limit the user to only one vote for any entry per day then select one vote per user per day.
