A Microsite, also known as a landing page is an Internet web design term referring to an individual web page or cluster of pages which are meant to function as an auxiliary supplement to a primary website. They are mini-websites, with their own domain names, that are often created for specific campaigns. They can be independent websites or part of a larger site.
