MailChimp Integration

We are excited to announce that we have integrated MailChimp in our campaign types Sweepstakes, Viral Sweepstakes, Trivia Sweepstakes, Viral Trivia Sweepstakes, Instant Win Sweepstakes, Photo Sweepstakes, Photo Contest, Video Contest, Essay Contest, Multi-Format Contest, Social Content Hub, Sign up Form and Quiz App. This can be used when email address is collected as part of registration. 

A new tab Data Export is added, under this enter the API key to fetch the list and connect the account.

To add an Api Key,log into Mail Chimp, Go to Account -> Extras -> API Keys and copy the API key. Enter the same in Api Key and click Fetch Lists. Fetch lists button fetches the lists associated with the API key of the MailChimp account. If a MailChimp account is added to one campaign then it will be available for all the campaigns created by you. Select the Email list and click Save.

You can edit or delete the list by clicking on save and navigating to the Delete and Edit options.

You can also select from already connected accounts.

Please note that only First Name, Last Name and Email fields will get posted to Mailchimp, no other information will be passed on to MailChimp. 

The list gets automatically updated and fetched when there are any modifications to the list as we are fetching all the lists based on API key so any new list added on the Mailchimp account will be automatically synced with the Votigo account.
